The critical project consists of a new 31,000 sf Substation Enclosure at the corner of 11^th and Hynes Street, which will replace the existing 10^th Avenue Substation, which will be removed to accommodate the Nashville Yards project.   The project includes the Substation on the ground level, with a basement, elevated switch gear floor and parking above that is connected to the top of the existing, adjacent parking deck.  The floor-to-floor height of the Substation level is 22’-0” to match the existing adjacent parking garage, considering the slope of the site down to 11^th Avenue.
