LPe provided structural engineering services for the design of a new concrete Fine Bar Screen Structure. The new facility consists of a concrete mat slab foundation and a cast in place upper concrete slab with one way slab and beam design. The concrete walls (18’ tall) are designed for lateral earth pressures and fluid pressures. Design will include structural support for two monorails, a new retaining wall and concrete pavement between the wall and the building, as well as exterior concrete stairs and Pipe Bollard supports.
